Nastia is a great example of a person who knows how to combine work from nine-to six (in a very responsible position!) with her hobby – photography. The portraits which she created are so sunny, vivid and unique. I just want to add: take photos for your own pleasure of what you like, how you like and when there is an inspiration! Do not depend on money, fashion or other factors that spoil creativity and photos themselves. And here are 5 tips from Anastasia, so simple but so important:

1. Start working with the model before shooting. Ask her to send the best 5 portraits in her opinion, ask which side of the face she considers as more photogenic (there is even such a term – “working side”).

2. Make shooting comfortable. Do not put pressure, do not violate personal boundaries, do not say that the model stands in the wrong way, smiles crookedly or that this is not her perspective. Guide, but gently, without negative evaluations.

3. Turn on nice music for relaxation. I use my playlists with ambient music, compiled specifically for such occasions, but you can ask the model to chose her favorite music.

4. Admire the model sincerely. Words of encouragement always inspire.

5. Ask the model to breathe deeply (many hold their breath during photo shooting), occupy her hands with a suitable object – so life will appear in the shot.
