Amsterdam is a city of bicycles. Their are thousands and thousands. They are attached to bridges, to pillars, to railings and to handrails. On them are driving children, adults, people of retirement age, alone, in pairs, with families, in suits, in dresses, on heels, by listening music, by talking on the phone, by eating… This type of transport is the most popular and the most priority so should be feared to cross the road and the sidewalk isn’t always safe 🙂 When the bike isn’t need, it throws in the closest channel, so Amsterdam channels in third filled of old bikes.
